Big Thief just released Two Hands, their second great album of 2019; it’s a rawer, more rocking companion to the atmospheric and contemplative U.F.O.F. from earlier this year, and you can stream the whole thing below. The band are currently in NYC celebrating the new album and playing three big shows, and they stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Thursday night to play “Not,” Two Hands‘ first single (and a song they’ve been playing live for a year and a half). It’s a powerful performance and you can watch it below.
Having already played Brooklyn Steel on Wednesday, and Webster Hall last night, Big Thief wrap up their three-show run tonight with a sold-out show at Webster Hall with Palehound opening. Their North American tour runs through mid-November and they then head to Europe. They’ve got 2020 dates in Europe as well — all are listed below.
