Minneapolis punk trio VIAL have announced their new album, Hellhound, due out on March 20 via the band’s Trout Hole Records label. It’s the follow-up to 2024’s great Burnout, and it features the two songs they released last year, “Creep Smoothie” and “Idle Hands.” See the cover art and tracklist, and hear a third new track, “Never Been Better,” below.
VIAL will be on tour in North American through March, April, and May, including a Brooklyn show at Elsewhere Zone One on May 16 with Scarlet Demore. Tickets for all dates go on sale Friday, January 9 at 10 AM local, and you can see all dates below.
After a Minneapolis woman was shot and killed by an ICE agent on Wednesday, Vial have shared a statement:
Today was supposed to be the day we were supposed to tell you about our new record HELLHOUND, but our minds are now 100% on our neighbor who was shot and killed by federal immigration officers in Minneapolis yesterday.
This was NOT self-defense. This was MURDER. FUCK ICE!
