PSYCHEDELIC FURS / JESUS AND MARY CHAIN
The Psychedelic Furs & Jesus and Mary Chain’s fall co-headline tour starts September 29 in Philly and includes two NYC shows (Beacon Theatre on 10/4 and Brooklyn Paramount on 10/5). All dates are here.
KIMYA DAWSON AT A ROLLER RINK
Kimya Dawson will be playing her first NYC solo show in a few years at Brooklyn roller rink Xanadu on September 24 with Maafa, Shellshag, and Lumberob. Skating starts at 6 PM with the show at 8 PM.
QUICKSAND
Quicksand are supporting Refused (who will soon call it quits) on tour in the spring, and they’ve added a few new headlining shows between those dates, in Richmond, DC, Pittsburgh, Philly, Boston, Buffalo, and Detroit.
RIVAL SCHOOLS
Speaking of bands with Walter Schreifels in them, Rival Schools are on tour in October in support of the Pedals reissue and have added a NYC in-store at Rough Trade on October 23.
PAVEMENT
Pavement will be in NYC for the NY Film Festival in October and will play an intimate club show while here.
HOT MULLIGAN HOLIDAY SHOWS
Hot Mulligan have announced Grand Rapids and Detroit holiday shows, and the lineup for the shows is pretty stacked, including rare sets from You Blew It! and Fireworks, plus Tigers Jaw, One Step Closer, Riley!, Harrison Gordon, If Kansas Had Trees, Stars Hollow, Bad Luck, Liquid Mike, Good Sleepy, and more.
AROOJ AFTAB
Arooj Aftab begins her fall tour on Thursday in Boston and added a new NYC show at The Greene Space on October 4 for the Grammy Museum’s “New York Evening With” series of conversation and music. She’ll talk with music writer Jem Aswad and play a few songs.
AIMEE MANN & TED LEO CHRISTMAS TOUR
Aimee Mann & Ted Leo will be on tour together again this holiday season and will bring Paul F Tompkins, Nellie McKay and more along with them.
A.C. NEWMAN ‘SLOW WONDER’ DATES
New Pornographers’ A.C. Newman will be celebrating the 20th anniversary of his debut album, The Slow Wonder, with a reissue and a few East Coast shows.
POM POM SQUAD
Pom Pom Squad have announced 2025 tour dates that start February 26 in Philly and wrap up in Brooklyn at Music Hall of Williamsburg on April 4. Caroline Kingsbury opens all dates.
JESSICA LEA MAYFIELD
Jessica Lea Mayfield has announced winter tour dates, running through December, January and February with Craig Phillip, Luella, Goodmorning Valentine, and Margaux supporting at various stops along the way. The NYC show is at Baby’s All Right on 1/30.
FOR THE CHILDREN ADDITIONS
More bands have been added to SOS Booking’s annual LA hardcore benefit show For The Children, including a reunion set from hardcore-turned-shoegazy rock band The Beautiful Ones, as well as Skourge, Mizery, Year of the Knife, Alpha & Omega, Colin of Arabia, Extinguish, and more. The new additions join such previously announced names as Gorilla Biscuits, 100 Demons, Comeback Kid, Mindforce, Never Ending Game, Big Boy, Torture, and more.
REGINA SPEKTOR
Regina Spektor has added a second Brooklyn show, happening December 9 at Warsaw. This and the 12/10 Warsaw show are to celebrate the new version of Songs she’s releasing, and she’ll play it in full and more at these two shows.
ANI DIFRANCO
Having released her 23rd album, Unprecedented Sh!t, earlier this year, Ani DiFranco has announced a run of 2025 tour dates supporting it.
IMMERSION / SUSS
Immersion, the duo of Wire’s Colin Newman and Minimal Compact’s Malka Spigel, have collaborated with ambient country group SUSS on a new album, and will tour together around their appearance at Big Ears 2025.
ML BUCH / MOLINA
ML Buch will return to North America in December with support from fellow Copenhagen artist and collaborator Molina.
