Tortoise have announced a series of special shows this fall, happening in LA, Austin, Marfa, Chicago (with the Chicago Philharmonic), Lexington, NYC and London. All dates are listed below.
NYC gets two nights at Bowery Ballroom on November 14 & 15, and tickets for all US shows go on sale Friday, July 18 at 10 AM local time.
Tortoise released “Oganesson,” their first new music in nine years, back in March, which was also their first release for International Anthem. A new album is on the way, hopefully details of which will be revealed in time for these shows. They also released an EP of “Oganesson” remixes by Saul Williams, Broken Social Scene, Patrick Carney, Heba Kadry and more, and you can listen to that below.
