Tickets for Cap’n Jazz‘s first NYC show in eight years go on BrooklynVegan presale today (2/20) at 10 AM, using the password BVCNJ. It happens on July 12 at Warsaw, and it’s part of the band’s upcoming U.S. reunion tour with Coffin Prick, which also hits Chicago, DC, Philly, and Boston. Any remaining tickets after the presale will go on sale to the general public on Friday (2/21) at 10 AM.
Cap’n Jazz last played NYC at Brooklyn Steel in 2017 with support from The Van Pelt. The band are also giving their sole album Burritos, Inspiration Point, Fork Balloon Sports, Cards in the Spokes, Automatic Biographies, Kites, Kung Fu, Trophies, Banana Peels We’ve Slipped on, and Egg Shells We’ve Tippy Toed Over (aka Shmap’n Shmazz) a remastered 30th anniversary reissue, marking its first time on vinyl since its initial 1995 release.
