Having recently released their first new song in 13 years, Thursday will be busy on tour through the summer and fall, starting with a Europe and UK run in June and early July. Before he leaves for those dates, vocalist Geoff Rickly has announced an intimate NYC solo show, happening at The Bowery Electric on May 7. It’s with Common Sage and Sharkswimmer, and tickets are on sale now.
On Twitter, Thursday say Common Sage are “the Staten Island/Brooklyn band that has the upcoming record we’re most looking forward to” and call Sharkswimmer “local Brooklyn boys,” continuing, “Geoff has collaborated with both these bands, so this is going to be a truly special night of playing together and trying new things. Geoff’ll bring some special guests up… maybe even the promoter!”
