The Wonder Years have announced a new tour celebrating their acoustic EP series Burst & Decay for this spring, and this time they’ll be joined on stage by a string section, The Little Kruta String Ensemble. In the announcement video–which was filmed at Glenside, PA’s Keswick Theatre (one of the tour’s stops)–singer Dan Campbell reveals that a third volume of Burst & Decay is recorded and, for the first time in the series’ existence, will feature an entirely new song. Support on the tour comes from a veteran emo/punk singer/songwriter who also has a long history of playing stripped-down acoustic shows, Kevin Devine.
The tour includes a NYC show at Warsaw on May 18. Tickets to that and all other dates go on sale Friday, January 31 at 10 AM local, with various presales starting Tuesday, January 28 at 10 AM local.
Watch the tour announcement video and see the full list of tour dates below. Stay tuned for more on the new volume of Burst & Decay.
