Pop punk true believers The Story So Far released their first album in six years, I Want To Disappear, in June (pick up our exclusive orange & black vinyl variant), and now they’ve announced a fall tour supporting it. They’ll be joined by back-in-action shoegazy post-hardcore greats Superheaven and fast-rising Long Island emo/hardcore band Koyo for the shows, which happen in November and December in the US. Tickets go on sale Friday, August 23 at 10 AM local, with various presales starting Tuesday, August 20 at 10 AM local.
The NYC stop happens at the gorgeous, newly-reopened Brooklyn Paramount on November 29. See all dates below.
Superheaven have been playing shows again more and more lately, and their comeback coincides with the band’s 2013 song “Youngest Daughter” having an unlikely resurgence on TikTok. Co-vocalist/guitarist Taylor Madison also just released a new album by his band Webbed Wing, and we talked to him about that album, Superheaven’s resurgence, and more. Webbed Wing also open Rival Schools‘ Pedals tour, including NJ’s Asbury Lanes on October 17 and NYC’s Brooklyn Bowl on October 18.
Koyo also opened The Story So Far’s intimate Brooklyn album release show back in June, and they recently wrapped up their summer tour with Anxious and One Step Closer. Their debut album Would You Miss It? came out last year via Pure Noise, and you can read our interview with the band for more on that.
