The Pretenders will support Foo Fighters on select dates of their upcoming stadium tour, and they’ve announced headlining shows around those dates. (They did a similar thing last year while on tour with Guns N’ Roses.) They’ll stop in Philadelphia, Boston, Washington DC, Chicago, Kansas City, Austin, San Francisco, and more in July and August; see all dates below.
There’s no NYC headlining date, but the tour begins in Red Bank, NJ at Count Basie Theatre on July 13. Tickets to all dates go on sale Friday, March 22 at 10 AM local, with various presales starting Wednesday, March 20 at 10 AM local.
The Pretenders will be in NYC with Foo Fighters and Mammoth WVH on July 17 at Citi Field. There’s also a second night of Foos in NYC on July 19 at Citi Field, which is with The Hives and Amyl and The Sniffers.
The Pretenders were also in NYC over the summer for an intimate Bowery Ballroom show around their tour with Guns N’ Roses. See pictures from that below.
