The Lemonheads announce ‘Come on Feel the Lemonheads’ 30th anniversary tour

The Lemonheads‘ sixth album, Come on Feel the Lemonheads, turns 30 in October, and to celebrate the band will be playing a few special shows.

The tour stays on the East Coast and starts at Asbury Parks’ Asbury Lanes on September 12 and also includes a NYC show at Racket on September 17, and both of those shows are with Willy Mason. There’s also a Boston show, of course, which is with Juliana Hatfield and DC is with former Lemonhead (and Blake Baby) John P. Strohm. Tickets for all dates go on sale Friday, August 11 at 10 AM and the full schedule is below.

Come on Feel the Lemonheads, which includes alt-rock hits “Into Your Arms,” “It’s About Time,” “Big Gay Heart,” and “The Great Big No,” got a deluxe 30th anniversary edition earlier this year via Fire with 14 bonus tracks, including demos, alternate takes/mixes, live sessions, b-sides and other rarities. You can listen to that below.
