New York’s mighty The Fleshtones will release a new album, It’s Getting Late (…and More Songs About Werewolves), which will be out November 1 via Yep Roc. “After 48 years, we’re finally figuring out how to play our instruments and make records, but not to the extent that it’s boring,” says frontman Peter Zaremba. “It’s still exciting and a challenge.”
The first single is the revved up “The Consequences,” in the band’s signature Super Rock style. Says guitarist Keith Streng, “The Consequences are a band traveling town to town playing all the current hits, which are songs I don’t dig but are popular with the masses.” You can listen below.
The Fleshtones have shows in Canada and the US this fall (no NYC currently), and will head to the UK in December, where they’ll tour with The Damned and Doctor & The Medics. All dates are listed below.
