Riot Fest isn’t the only punk festival announcing its lineup this week. Gainesville’s The Fest returns for its 16th year from October 27-29 (with Pre-Fest happening in Ybor on October 25 & 26), and the lineup is stacked as always. Headliners include two Gainesville-bred bands, Hot Water Music and Against Me!, the latter of which will be playing Reinventing Axl Rose in its entirety. One more headliner TBA.
The rest of the fest includes Hum, Rainer Maria, The Lillingtons, Snapcase, Smoking Popes, Teenage Bottlerocket, Iron Reagan, 88 Fingers Louie, Beach Slang, A Wilhelm Scream, Mustard Plug, Off With Their Heads, Tim Barry, Toys That Kill, Direct Hit, Red City Radio, PEARS, Meat Wave, Allison Weiss, The Flatliners, Iron Chic, Atom and His Package, Screaming Females, Slingshot Dakota, Sinai Vessel, Mikey Erg, Drug Church, Signals Midwest, Mobina Galore, Frameworks, Dikembe, Gouge Away, Cloak/Dagger, and still more.
