The Doobie Brothers have announced a 2024 arena and amphitheater tour with support from fellow rock and blues veterans Steve Winwood and Robert Cray, varying by date. It follows the band’s 50th anniversary tour, which reunited Michael McDonald with Tom Johnston, Patrick Simmons, and John McFee for the first time in 25 years. Tickets for the new dates go on sale Friday, January 26 at 10 AM local, with presales starting Tuesday (1/23).
The tour hits the NYC-area on August 6 at PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel and August 7 at Madison Square Garden, and those are both Steve Winwood. All dates are listed below.
The Doobie Brothers recently released the new single “Lahaina” (featuring Mick Fleetwood on drums and Hawaiian musicians Jake Shimabukuro and Henry Kapono) in support of those affected by wildfires in Maui. Listen to that and watch a classic performance of “Listen to the Music” below.
