The Cure already announced festival appearances for 2026 — including Primavera Sound, Isle of Wight, Nova Rock, Rock En Seine — and now they’ve announced their first headline dates of the year. They’re all in the UK and Ireland, with stops in Dublin and Belfast in June and Manchester and Edinburgh in August.
The openers for these shows are good: Dublin (June 26 at Marley Park) also has The Twilight Sad, Just Mustard and Stella and the Dreaming; Belfast (June 28 at Ormeau Park) has The Twilight Sad and Just Mustard; Manchester (August 21 at Wythenshawe Park) has Slowdive and The Slow Readers Club; and Edinburgh (August 23 at Royal Highland Showgrounds) has Slowdive, Mogwai and Just Mustard.
Tickets for those headline shows go on sale Friday, October 3 at 11 AM local time, but if you sign up for their mailing list you’ll have access to presales that start Wednesday at 9 AM local.
The Isle of Wight Festival (June 18-21) also features headliners Calvin Harris and Lewis Capaldi, plus Teddy Swims, The Kooks, Wet Leg, The Sex Pistols ft Frank Carter, The Last Dinner Party, Rick Astley, David Gray, Shed Seven and more.
