Dance music collagists The Avalanches seem like they might be gearing up to release their fourth album. They wiped their Instagram clean earlier this year and have since dropped two new singles — “Together” featuring Nikki Nair, Jessy Lanza and Prentis, and “Every Single Weekend” featuring Jamie XX — both with artwork that plays off branding and advertising. Now they’re announced their first NYC show since 2017.
That happens October 22 at Terminal 5 with Erick the Architect and a DJ set from Jessy Lanza. Tickets go on sale Friday, July 24 at 10 AM local time.
That’s the only North American date for The Avalanches currently, but they do have shows across the UK and Europe this summer and fall. All dates are listed below.
