Swami John Reis (Drive Like Jehu, Hot Snakes, Rocket from the Crypt) has a new band, Swami & The Bed of Nails, and they’ll release their debut album later this year. Details on that are forthcoming, but their first single, “How Are You Peeling?,” is out now and is the kind of ripping, high-octane garage punk you’d expect from Reis. You can listen to that below.
Swami & The Bed of Nails will be selling the 7″ of “How Are You Peeling?” exclusively on their spring tour, which kicks off March 19 in Seattle and comes to an end April 13 in Cleveland. The NYC show is at Saint Vitus on April 9. All dates are listed below.
