Sturgill Simpson has announced a Johnny Blue Skies tour for the project’s new album Mutiny After Midnight. The tour kicks off September 4 in Austin and wraps October 30 in Lexington, KY. All dates are listed below.
The NYC stop on the tour is October 16 at Barclays Center and tickets go on sale Friday, April 10 at 10 AM local time with presales starting April 8 at 10 AM local.
Mutiny After Midnight got a pre-release preview on YouTube but then went physical-only. Sturgill said it would stream with bonus tracks “at some point,” and it’s now available as a digital download exclusively on iTunes, featuring a bonus track cover of Eddie Murphy’s “Party All the Time.”
