Squirrel Flower has announced a spring and summer tour, which will have her out in May and June in North America, followed by dates in Europe and the UK in July. Those are full band, while most of the North American shows are solo, and include dates supporting Julia Jacklin, Pedro The Lion, Courtney Barnett, and Bob Mould, as well as headlining shows. The tour begins in Brooklyn, supporting Julia Jacklin at her residency shows at National Sawdust on May 15 and May 22. She has a headlining show between the two dates at Union Pool on May 21, which is with Merce Lemon. Tickets for Union Pool are on sale now (National Sawdust is currently sold out).
Squirrel Flower’s most recent album, Tomorrow’s Fire, came out in October. Pedro the Lion recently announced their new album Santa Cruz. Merce Lemon released their first new music of 2024, “Will You Do Me A Kindness,” a couple of weeks ago – hear that below.
