Exploding in Sound is celebrating their fourteenth birthday with a weekend of NYC shows next month. They feature artists from “both the label’s earliest days and the label’s future,” and they’re promising “some rare appearances, reunions, introductions, and so much more.” Here are the lineups:

Prewn released her great sophomore album System earlier this month. We caught Speedy Ortiz at Best Friends Forever, and Ovlov came through NYC over the weekend supporting Anamanaguchi, and they’re playing the Los Angeles dates of Slide Away next year, which will feature the return of Hum and Chapterhouse.
