Speedway tap members of Title Fight, Viagra Boys & Ekulu for debut LP (stream a track)

Swedish melodic hardcore band Speedway have announced that they’ll follow up a very promising run of EPs with their debut full-length album, A Life’s Refrain, on April 11 via the legendary NYHC-centric Revelation Records (pre-order). It was produced by Ned & Ben Russin of Title Fight, and Ned (also of Glitterer) is also one of three guest vocalists on the LP, and it was mixed and mastered by Arthur Rizk. The other two guest vocalists are Sebastian Murphy of Viagra Boys and Chris Wilson of Ekulu, the latter of whom appears on lead single “Permission To Dream.” Clocking in at under two minutes, it’s a fast-paced melodic hardcore song that would sit nicely next to anything from Dag Nasty to Turning Point to newer bands like Praise and One Step Closer, and Speedway do this kinda thing so well. Check it out below.

The band is also opening Shelter‘s Mantra 30th anniversary tour in Europe, and that’s a very well-matched double bill. Check out the tour poster with all dates below.
