After debuting the series back in January, Ground Control Touring and reproductive justice nonprofit Noise For Now have announced the second edition of their Abortion Access Benefit Series. For 2024, they’re expanding from three to five cities, happening on Saturday, January 20 in NYC, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, and Nashville. All proceeds will go to Noise for Now, who will allocate the funds to local independent abortion clinics and abortion funds.
NYC is at Bowery Ballroom with Chanel Beads, Donna Missal, DREA (DJ set), Frankie Cosmos, keiyaA, Kevin Devine, LustSickPuppy, NOIA, Nourished By Time, Pom Pom Squad, and Youbet.
Los Angeles is at Lodge Room with Aurat, Ceremony’s Anthony Anzaldo, Turnover’s Austin Getz and Faux Real, Blondshell, Kate Bollinger, Neggy Gemmy, Panther Modern, Patriarchy, Sadgirl, Shannon Lay, Tim Heidecker, and DJ sets from Joyce Manor’s Barry Johnson, Black Marble, Osees’ John Dwyer, Mz Neon, Reggie Watts, Pretty But Wicked’s Sammie Pearson, Sextile, and Them Jeans.
Philadelphia is at Johnny Brenda’s with Florry, Hop Along’s Frances Quinlan, Gladie, Poison Ruïn, and Radiator Hospital.
Chicago is at Empty Bottle with Divino Niño, Macie Stewart, Melkbelly, Resavoir (DJ set) and Is This Whit (Whitney Does The Strokes).
Nashville is at DRKMTTR with Brian Brown, Crystal Egg, Mali Velasquez, MSPAINT, Soccer Mommy (solo set), Wombo, Upchuck, and DJ sets from Megan Loveless and Total Wife.
All shows will also feature auctions, special guests, and more artists to be announced. Tickets to each go on sale Friday, December 1 at 10 AM EST.
