Slauson Malone 1, the solo music/performance art project of Jasper Marsalis, has signed to Warp Records in partnership with jMedia. The news follows his 2019 release A Quiet Farwell, 2016-2018 (Crater Speak) and 2020’s Vergangenheitsbewältigung (Crater Speak), and Warp says, “We’re elated to be working with Slauson Malone 1 at Warp – we support and believe in Jasper’s vision wholeheartedly and can’t wait for what’s to come.”
Slauson Malone 1 has also announced a headlining US tour in October, following a run supporting King Krule on the West Coast. He’ll also play a few EU shows in November, including Utretcht’s Le Guess Who?. See all dates below.
The North American leg of the tour wraps up in NYC on October 22 at Bowery Ballroom. Tickets go on sale soon.
