Having broken up in December, Screaming Females have now released their final EP, Clover, on Don Giovanni. The EP was produced by frequent collaborator Matt Bayles during the same sessions as last year’s excellent Desire Pathway, and it was previously only available in physical formats directly from the band in a bundle with Desire Pathway. Now it’s officially out everywhere, and it’s got more of the magic that made Desire Pathway so great. We’re still bummed that this band has said goodbye, but at least they went out on such an incredibly high note. Listen to the EP below.
Though Screaming Females are no more, singer/guitarist Marissa Paternoster is staying busy. She’s got a graphic novel called Merriment arriving on March 19, and she’s got some shows with her solo project Noun this month, followed by a newly-announced Ridgewood, NY show on May 19 at Sundown with Radiator Hospital. That awesome double bill appears to be a one-off at the moment. All known dates are listed below.
