Last year, Dromedary Records hosted a 30th birthday party festival in Hudson, NY that featured a lot of ’90s indie rock bands. They’ve decided to do it again this year over Labor Day Weekend (August 30 – September 1) at The Avalon Lounge in Catskill, NY. Tickets for Dromfest ’24 are on sale now.
The line-up once again features some rare performances from ’90s-era acts, including Cell, Scrawl, Tuscadero, King Missile (Dog Fly Religion), The Figgs, Poem Rocket, Moviola, Aeon Station (3/4 of The Wrens), Thalia Zedek Band, Antietam, the Chris Brokaw Rock Band, Dew Claw (mems Hypnolovewheel, King Missile), Sleepyhead, and more.
This will be the first show in decades from Cell, the NYC indie rockers who released singles on Thurston Moore’s Ecstatic Peace label and put out their 1994 debut on DGC (Nirvana, Sonic Youth, Teenage Fanclub). It’s also pretty rare to catch Scrawl and Tuscadero these days.
Check out the full lineup below and all details on Dromfest ’24 are here.
