Robyn Hitchcock recently released a 7″ featuring “Sunday Never Comes,” which was written for the film Juliet Naked and had previously only been heard in demo form, and “Take Off Your Bandages” which Robyn describes as “psychedelic manifesto for the current era, inspired by the activism of the students at Stoneman Douglas High School.” That’s out now and you can listen to both sides below.
As usual, Robyn is busy on tour and is currently wrapping up a West Coast run. He’s got a few other North American shows this summer, including Pittsburgh, Toronto and Lewiston, NY, and will tour the UK and Europe this fall. He’s also got some fall North American shows, including Brooklyn’s Murmrr Ballroom on November 21 which is with Tanya Donelly. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday, May 24 at 10 AM.
