Robyn Hitchcock has announced fall solo tour dates, hitting the Northeast in October and November with stops in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, DC, Montclair, Boston, NYC, Woodstock, and Fairfield, CT. Those dates are with Imogen Clark.
The Montclair, NJ show is at the Outpost in the Burbs at The First Congregational Church on 10/26, the NYC show is at City Winery on 10/30 and the Woodstock show is at Levon Helm Studios on 11/1. Tickets for those shows go on sale Friday, July 12 at 10 AM local time.
Before that, Robyn has a few East Coast book dates for his just-released memoir, 1967: How I Got There and Why I Never Left, including Hoboken, NJ’s Little City Books on July 31, where he’ll talk with WFMU’s Todd-O-Phonic Todd, and NYC’s Rough Trade on August 1, where he’ll talk with music journalist David Fricke.
Robyn also has a companion album to 1967 where he covers classic songs from the era (Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, The Kinks, more). That’s out September 13.
