Rachel Chinouriri has announced her second album, I think I spoke too soon. It’s the follow-up to 2024’s What a Devastating Turn of Events and last year’s Little House EP, and it’s due out October 16 via Atlas Artists/Parlophone/Warner. It features collaborations with APOB, Mary Weitz, Glen Roberts, Daniel Hylton-Nuamah, Lucy Dacus and Eli Teplin, and she hasn’t shared the tracklist yet, but you can see the cover art below.
The first single is “One Song Away From Crying,” which she says is “about the precipice of a night out where you know you need to leave and have to make a decision. It’s a deeper decision because it’s less about the night itself but more about a reflection of a deeper internal conflict with your self value that you haven’t looked at yet.” Watch the video, directed by Dora Paphides, below.
Rachel is on the lineup for Olivia Rodrigo’s Daisy Chain Fields festival, and she’s supporting Gracie Abrams on tour later in the fall. She’s also announced some new headlining shows, including NYC’s Bowery Ballroom on August 31.
