Delaware punks Plow United were initially active during the ’90s, but after a hiatus, they reunited for Riot Fest’s inaugural Philadelphia edition in 2011, continued playing shows over the next few years, then lapsed back into inactivity. They’ve announced they’ll reunite again this year for their first show in a decade, which celebrates the 30th anniversary of their 1996 album Goodnight Sellout. It happens on September 19 at The First Unitarian Church in Philadelphia, and tickets go on sale Friday, April 3 at 10 AM ET.
Joining them for the show are The Ergs! (whose Mikey Erg was Plow United bassist Joel Tannenbaum’s The Rentiers bandmate, along with Anika Pyle of Chumped and Tyler Pursel), Chris Gethard (who hosted Plow United on The Chris Gethard Show in 2013), and Crossed Keys, and they’ll play Goodnight Sellout in full, along with other songs.
Goodnight Sellout is also getting reissued with a live set “recorded at the Creep House back in the day,” which R5 Productions calls “absolutely BLISTERING.” Stay tuned for more on that, and stream the 2013 remaster below.
