Fiddlehead hit the road for almost a month straight this past summer and they said it was “probably the closest we will ever get to doing a proper full US tour,” so if they come near you in the future, don’t take it for granted. There was no NYC show on that run, but now they’ve added a NYC one-off happening on January 30 at Le Poisson Rouge right before they play their label Run For Cover’s Something in the Way festival in Boston. They’ve put together a great bill for the show, featuring shoegazy bands Glare and Prize Horse, plus NJ alt-rock/post-hardcore locals Nave, and they’ll be playing in the round. Given the stage setup, Fiddlehead say, “Please stage dive from every direction to every band on this lineup.” Tickets go on sale Friday (11/15) at 10 AM.
