New Jersey-based, doom-influenced (but not really doom any more) songwriter Planning For Burial has some shows coming up at the tail end of 2016 and in 2017. He’s always putting out a steady stream of releases, including a couple of splits this year. He’s recently shared some casettes filled with improvisational noise/synth stuff (he estimates that he’s recorded over 35 hours of the stuff this year) while we wait for him to drop his third album (which would follow 2014’s excellent Desideratum).
Meanwhile, he’s got a couple of shows coming up this weekend in the Pacific Northwest, and he’s just announced a 2017 show in NYC. He’ll play Saint Vitus on March 25 and be joined by No Sun. Tickets for that are on sale now.
