Former Only Ones frontman Peter Perrett released his first-ever solo album, An Epic Story, earlier this year on Domino. As I wrote:
Charting his romance and life with his wife Zena (whom he married in 1970 at age 18), it really is an epic story and he made the album with his two sons. His instantly recognizable vocals remain in fine shape, and the songs — given a Spaghetti Western scope here — are pretty great too.

Peter Perrett will be touring North America in 2018, including a stop at NYC’s Bowery Ballroom on March 2. He’ll also play Toronto, Boston, Chicago, Minneapolis, Los Angeles and San Francisco. Tickets for Bowery (and all shows on the tour) go on sale Friday, October 27 but you can get them early with a Brooklyn Vegan presale for all dates that starts Wednesday, October 25 at 10 AM local time.
