When Pavement played The National’s Homecoming Festival in September (following a four-night run at NYC’s Brooklyn Steel), it was a fair assumption that that would be it for their reunion tour, which was announced in 2019, didn’t actually happen until 2022 and then stretched into most of 2023. Some also wondered if it could be the ’90s indie rock icons’ last show ever.
It ain’t over till it’s over, though, and Pavement have announced they’ll play São Paulo, Brazil’s C6 Festival, which happens May 18-19, 2024. They are the only announced act so far.
