Michael Angelakos has been doing solo Passion Pit shows over the past few years, and now he’s announced a summer tour that will have him joined by bandmates Giuliano Pizzulo (lead guitar/samples/synths), Eric Scullin (bass/synths), Denzel Cox (organs/synths), and Ben Barter (drums/drum machine). They’ll be previewing new music in addition to playing songs from throughout Passion Pit’s catalog, and you can see all dates below.
The NYC show is at The Rooftop at Pier 17 on July 25. You can get tickets on BrooklynVegan Presale starting Wednesday, March 18 at 12 PM ET. Use the presale password BKVEGAN. Our presale runs until Thursday, March 19 at 10 PM ET, and any remaining tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, March 20 at 10 AM.
Passion Pit also have a new EP, Pretty Penny, on the way, which a press release describes as a companion piece to their debut 2008 EP Chunk of Change. More details are still to come, stay tuned.
