NYC experimental indie rock band Parts & Labor called it quits in 2012, but are now back in action with a new album and live dates announced. Set of All Sets, their first album in 15 years, is a double LP and will be out July 10 via Ernest Jenning Record Co.
“These songs are mirrors in all manner of ways,” the band say of the album. “Reflective and fragmented, this is our attempt at epitomizing the band we always strove to be. The ‘Endless Cycle’ is us.”
“Endless Cycle Pts. 1-4,” which represent 20 soaring, ambitious minutes of Set of All Sets, are out now. You can listen to them below.
Parts & Labor will celebrate the album with a few shows, playing Los Angeles and San Francisco before hitting NYC’s TV Eye on August 7 with Oneida and Kinski, and August 8 with 75 Dollar Bill and Parlor Walls. All dates are below.
