Parquet Courts and Dave
Gigs on The Late Show with David Letterman are getting harder to secure now that Dave has set his end date. But Parquet Courts managed to snag a slot last night (1/7), playing “Bodies Made Of” off last year’s Sunbathing Animal. And maybe Dave also announced his post-CBS plans in the process. After the song, Dave came over and told the band, “Paul and I have talked it over, we would like to manage the band.” Watch the video below.
Parquet Courts, who wrapped up 2014 with their biggest NYC show yet, will continue to tour in 2015. No NYC dates at the moment, but they will be touring the Southeast, including dates with Priests, Merchandise and Nots. Then they’ll head to Australia and New Zealand. They’ll also be playing Coachella. All tour dates are listed below.
Meanwhile over at The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, The War on Drugs were on performing “An Ocean In Between the Waves” from last year’s acclaimed Lost in the Dream. You can watch that below.
