Oasis are back, announce first live shows in 16 years

It’s official. Following teases and press leaks this weekend, Oasis are back and have announced their first live dates in 16 years, which happen in stadiums across the UK and Ireland in Summer 2025, including four nights each at London’s Wembley Stadium and Manchester Heaton Park. Say Noel and Liam Gallagher:

“The guns have fallen silent.
The stars have aligned.
The great wait is over.
Come see.
It will not be televised.”

It probably will be shot for a concert film, though. Tickets go on sale Saturday, August 31 at 9 AM BST. There will be presale that starts Friday, August 30 and you’ll need to register for that between now at August 28 at 7 PM BST. Good luck with tickets.

Oasis will also play Cardiff, Edinburgh and Dublin in addition to London and Manchester. All dates are listed below.

UPDATE: Oasis say they aren’t playing any festivals in 2025, however.

What about the rest of the world? “Plans are underway for OASIS LIVE ’25 to go to other continents outside of Europe later next year.”

There’s no official word who else besides the Gallaghers will be in the 2025 lineup of Oasis. Both guitarist Gem Archer and drummer Chris Sharrock, who were in the late-2010s incarnation of the band, play in Noel’s Gallagher’s High Flying Birds while original Oasis member Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs has been playing in Liam’s band recently and left a couple hearts as a comment on Liam’s announcement post on Instagram. As for the bass, will Ride’s Andy Bell be asked back? Stay tuned.

2025 will also be the 30th anniversary of the band’s worldwide hit second album and Britpop classic (What’s the Story) Morning Glory, so expect more news on that front.

This week marks the 30th anniversary of Oasis’ debut album, Definitely Maybe.
