Motion City Soundtrack‘s breakthrough debut album I Am the Movie turned 20 in June, and they’ll celebrate on tour this winter, playing the album in full. “Many of these shows will be in smaller, more intimate venues – and that is by design,” they say. “We want it to feel a bit like it did back when we released the record in 2003.” Minneapolis indie punks Gully Boys will open the shows, and you can see all dates below.
The tour includes a Brooklyn show at Warsaw on January 9, and an Asbury Park, NJ show at The Stone Pony on January 11. Tickets to all dates go on sale Monday, October 23 at 10 AM local, with a Live Nation presale happening now.
