Back in August, Mitski announced that she’d preview her new album The Land is Inhospitable and So Are We with intimate, acoustic performances, Amateur Mistake, in the UK and Europe in October. She’s now announced a few North American dates as well, happening in September. NYC is with Mary Lattimore, Los Angeles and Toronto are with Shana Cleveland, and Mexico City is with Joaquina Mertz. The NYC show is at Town Hall on September 26. Tickets for NYC, LA, and Toronto will go on sale via a lottery beginning Tuesday, September 5 at 12 PM ET. Sign ups end on Sunday, September 10 at 11:59 PM ET, and invites will go out starting Wednesday, September 13. Any remaining tickets will go on sale to the general public on Monday, September 18.
Mitski is also presenting music and film double features, happening on September 7 in movie theaters in Chicago, Dallas, london, Los Angeles, Melbourne, Nashville, Sydney, NYC, and a planetarium in Tokyo. See those dates below, as well.
