Philly band mewithoutYou posted a link on Facebook saying that “The Sun & The Moon Band” are playing a 10-year anniversary show in Philly this holiday season. Unless it somehow means that Chameleons offshoot The Sun and the Moon (who are far more than 10 years old) are playing a one-off Philly show that mewithoutYou just happen to be stoked about, we’re gonna take a stab at it and say mewithoutYou are squeezing in a hometown gig to celebrate the tenth anniversary of their seminal 2006 record Brother, Sister, which includes the song “The Sun and the Moon.”
The opening band is “Rush 2.0” (Coheed & Cambria???) (just kidding, maybe it’s Hurry covering Rush though), and the show happens December 29 at the Boot & Saddle. Tickets go on sale Friday (12/2) at noon.
mewithoutYou also play the one-day Run For Cover Records festival at NYC’s Webster Hall on December 14 (tickets), and they open Circa Survive’s On Letting Go 10th anniversary tour in 2017, including two nights at Webster Hall in January (tickets). Updated dates are listed below.
