Mdou Moctar will release Tears of Injustice, an acoustic rework of this year’s Funeral for Justice, in February and they’ve just announced a tour in support. “These shows will be very special, offering an entirely different and unique version of the band,” Mdou Moctar say. Dates begin February 2 in Toronto and wrap up in NYC on February 21 at Sony Hall. All dates are below.
Tickets for Sony Hall and all dates of the February tour go on sale Friday, December 13 at 10 AM local time.
Tears of Injustice is out February 28 via Matador and you can listen to “Takoba (Injustice Version)” from the upcoming album below. They’ve also just shared “The Agadez Folders: Desert Cube Session,” a 36-minute live performance featuring six songs. Watch that below.
