Luke Temple and The Cascading Moms announce debut album, share “I Can Dream”

Luke Temple of Here We Go Magic and Art Feynman has a new group, Luke Temple & The Cascading Moms, who will release their debut album, Certain Limitations, on July 19 via Western Vinyl.

The Cascading Moms are a trio of Temple, drummer Kosta Galanopoulos (who played on Art Feynman’s great Be Good the Crazy Boys) and bassist Doug Stuart. According to the PR, influences include Dire Straits, The Velvet Underground, and jazz label ECM. The first single from the album is “I Can Dream,” which you might also know from Art Feynman’s 2020 album, Half Price at 3:30 but here has been transformed from a lullaby into a mellow late-’70s California type jam. It’s good stuff and you can listen below.

Luke Temple and The Cascading Moms will preview their album at LA’s Gold Diggers on May 31.
