Having released a surprise comeback single in January, Les Savy Fav have now announced OUI, LSF — their first album in 14 years! — which will be out May 10 via Frenchkiss / The Orchard. The band made the album in frontman Tim Harrington’s Brooklyn Attic, or as he describes it, a “freaky barn.” He adds, “The record grew organically — literally and figuratively.”
The album includes recent single “Legendary Tippers” and they’ve just shared a second, the dark, simmering “Guzzle Blood,” which comes with an animated video was made by old friend Christy Karacas — who was guitarist in Cheeseburger and created Adult Swim series Superjail! and Ballmastrz: 9009 — and Luca Depardon. “As the first song on OUI, LSF “Guzzle Blood” drops you into the bottom of a dark well,” says Tim Harrington. “In a lot of ways the rest of the record is about the things we do to climb back out.”

Les Savy Fav have also announced tour dates, including a NYC show at Music Hall of Williamsburg on May 16. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 1 at 10 AM. The band also have a few East Coast / West Coast dates in June and all are listed below.
