Brooklyn band Lathe of Heaven have a sound steeped in echo-y early-’80s post punk (The Chameleons, Killing Joke) and have just signed to Sacred Bones, who will release the band’s debut album, Bound by Naked Skies, on September 1. Lathe of Heaven have three upcoming NYC shows: TV Eye on August 4 with Home Front and Deluxxe; Union Pool on August 18 with Temple of Angels; and TV Eye on September 7 with Eyedrops. After that, they’ll be on a short West Coast tour in September, and play Montreal’s Varning Festival. All dates are listed below.
