Lala Lala, aka Chicago-based singer-songwriter Lillie West, released her first song for Sub Pop, “Does This Go Faster?,” back in October. She’s now announced a new album, Heaven 2, due out on February 27 via Sub Pop. She co-produced it with Jay Som‘s Melina Duterte, and it also features Sen Morimoto, Macie Stewart, and Porches‘ Aaron Maine. See the cover art and tracklist below.
She’s shared two new singles, the shapeshifting “Even Mountains Erode” and spare synthpop track “Heaven2.” Hear both below.
Lala Lala also announced a spring tour with lots of hands and mother soki each opening varying by date. It wraps up with a pair of NYC shows, at Night Club 101 on April 16 and Baby’s All Right on April 17, both with mother soki.
