Knockdown Center has announced the Spring 2025 edition of its Outline series. This one is working a little differently than it has before, happening on two different Saturdays two weeks apart.
March 30 features krautrock icon Michael Rother playing songs from Neu! and Harmonia, plus Sonic Youth’s Thurston Moore, experimental Australian duo HTRK, and Japanese singer-songwriter (and Jim O’Rourke collaborator) Eiko Ishibashi.
April 12 features post-rock greats Explosions in the Sky, plus Iceland group múm, Mexico City-based art-pop musician Mabe Fratti, shoegazers They are Gutting a Body of Water, Dutch electronic artist upsammy, and ethereal Mexican group Diles Que No Me Maten.
