King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard have announced a few 2024 US tour dates at big venues where they will play three-hour marathon sets. Dates kick off with a return to Queens, NY’s Forest Hills Stadium on August 17, and from there they head to Chicago’s Huntington Bank Pavilion on September 1, and then WA’s The Gorge on September 14, which, at a capacity of 21,600, is the Australian band’s biggest headline show ever. They’ll also play Austin’s Germania Insurance Amphitheater on November 15, so presumably there are still a lot more shows still to be announced.
Tickets for all four US shows go on sale Friday, September 15 at 12 PM noon Eastern but you can get tickets early to Forest Hills by registering for the presale which starts Thursday (9/14) at 10 AM.
King Gizzard’s only album of 2023 so far is Petrodragonic Apocalypse, which was released in June.
