Kim Gordon has announced a new album, The Collective, due out on March 8 via Matador. It’s her second solo album and the follow-up to 2019’s No Home Record, and it was produced by Justin Raisen, with additional production from Anthony Paul Lopez. See the cover art and tracklist below.
The first single is “BYE BYE,” which has Kim speaking over glitched-out trap beats. Watch the video, starring Coco Gordon Moore and directed by Clara Balzary, below.
Kim will play a series of US release shows for The Collective in March, starting in Burlington and wrapping up in San Francisco. See all dates below.
The NYC show is at Knockdown Center on March 23, a stacked lineup that also features Kelsey Lu, L’Rain, Circuit des Yeux, and her Body/Head bandmate Bill Nace.
