Ahead of this Friday’s (8/15) release of their sophomore album (and SideOneDummy debut) Blame It On The Weather, Chance Smith of Asheville, NC emo band Kerosene Heights has told us about his 5 favorite screamo records. His list ranges from widely-loved classics to more cultishly-loved records, and he had interesting stuff to say about each one. Check out the video below for his list.
Kerosene Heights also announced that they’ll be heading out on tour this fall in support of fellow rising emo band TRSH, who just announced their Wax Bodega debut String Theory last week. Kerosene Heights and new Bentonville, Arkansas emo band Thoughts On Bowling are on all dates, and select dates are also with two back-in-action early 2010s-era bands, Sports. and Camping In Alaska. The tour includes a NYC show on December 13 at Market Hotel and the lineup for that one is TRSH, Thoughts On Bowling, Kerosene Heights, and Long Island emo locals MooseCreek Park.
