A very impressive lineup is coming together to play a Brooklyn benefit show for the D’Addario Foundation, “a non-profit organization that identifies the highest quality, most impactful instrument instruction programs in communities of need and awards grants and product donations to assist their growth and development.” The concert goes down on September 22 at BRIC House (647 Fulton St) with Blake Mills as the bandleader. Guests include Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ Karen O & Nick Zinner as a duo, plus Lucius, Kaki King, Marc Ribot, Smokey Hormel, Julian Lage, and some unannounced special guests. Tickets, starting at $100, are on sale now. 100% of proceeds will go directly to the Foundation’s partner programs.
