When Florence + the Machine announced her tour in support of her great new album High As Hope, she revealed some pretty great openers — like Kamasi Washington (who plays on her new album), St. Vincent, Grizzly Bear, Perfume Genius, Beth Ditto, Lizzo, and more — but no openers were announced for the Brooklyn or Boston shows. It’s now been announced that Kamasi Washington (who recently played Forest Hills Stadium with alt-J) will open in Brooklyn and Grizzly Bear (whose tour with Spoon recently hit Boston) will open in Boston.
As mentioned, the Brooklyn show happens October 9 at Barclays Center (tickets). Updated dates for both Florence and Kamasi are listed below.
